Identity, Naming and Collateral | June 2018 (ongoing)
Albergaria is a small hotel in Évora (Portugal), that has been operating for several years, providing great experiences to their customers. The goal was to put into place a rebrand that effortlessly communicated their values and philosophy, and that could be applied consistently to the various communication materials the hotel has available.
The inspiration for the identity is the house itself and the typical rows of windows one sees in the patio, a popular spot that guests remember fondly from their stay. There is an element of affection in the name, a reference to when regular guests remember “Albergaria”, like a nickname an old friend would use. Albergaria is simple and effortless; generous and thoughtful; modern, but filled with love for local richness.
